María Ligia Giráldez Rodríguez
María Ligia Giráldez Rodríguez joined Indiano & Williams, P.S.C. as an Associate, in December 2008.
Ms. Giráldez was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico. In 2004, she obtained the degree of Bachelor of Arts, Cum Laude, from Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts. There, she concentrated in Romance Languages and Literatures and received a citation in French. In 2008, Ms. Giráldez obtained her Juris Doctor Degree, Cum Laude, from the University of Puerto Rico School of Law.
Prior to joining Indiano & Williams, P.S.C., Ms. Giráldez worked as a Summer Associate in 2006 and 2007 and as a Semester Lawclerk at McConnell Valdés, LLP. During her law school years, Ms. Giráldez also served as Editor to the 76th and 77th Volumes of the University of Puerto Rico Law Review.
Ms. Giráldez is a notary public and is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit. Her admission to the U.S. District Court for the District of Puerto Rico is pending. She is a member of the Puerto Rico Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
